New Chief of Treaty Three Police Service Eager To Take On New Role
(KENORA) – The Treaty Three Police Service is proud to announce the appointment of Cheryl Gervais as the new Chief of Police. Chief Gervais, a dedicated law enforcement professional with over 20 years of experience, is set to lead our police service into an exciting new chapter.
Chief Gervais expressed her gratitude to the Treaty Three Police Services Board for their trust and confidence in her leadership. “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Police Services Board for this appointment. It’s truly an honor to serve as the Chief of Police for Treaty Three, and I am eager to take on the challenges and opportunities that this role brings,” said Chief Gervais.
As a community member of Iskatewiizaagegan No. 39 Independent First Nation and a 20-year member of our police service, Chief Gervais brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a commitment to upholding the values of the police service and community. She looks forward to working collaboratively with community partners, and stakeholders to ensure the safety and well-being of the Treaty Three communities.

Chief Gervais’ appointment marks a significant moment in the ongoing commitment of the Treaty Three Police Service to providing exemplary law enforcement services to the Treaty Three communities. The Police Services Board, the members of the service, and the community at large are excited about the future under Chief Gervais’ leadership.
Treaty Three Police Service is a self-administered Policing entity under the First Nations Policing Program in Canada and is responsible for full policing duties in 23 First Nation Communities in the Treaty #3 territory.
