Media Release: Charge laid after CDSA Search Warrant

(FORT FRANCES) On December 7, 2022, the Treaty Three Police Service with the assistance of the Fort Frances and Kenora OPP Community Street Crime Units and the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act on the First Nation Territory of Couchiching.

As a result, police have charged Frank NOVELLI with Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000.

Anyone with information regarding illegal drug activity is asked to contact their local police law enforcement agency or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

The Treaty Three Police Service is a self-administered Policing entity under the First Nations Policing Program in Canada and is responsible for full policing duties spanning 55,000 square miles of the Greater Treaty Three Region in Northwestern Ontario. This includes approximately 20,000 residents in 23 First Nation Communities.
