Treaty Three Police Service is accepting applications for a Guard Team Lead for the Agency One Land Detachment. Under the direction of the Staff Sergeants, the Guard Team Lead will be responsible to provide supervision to guards and support the Detachment Commander in Charge with administrative duties relating to prisoner care.

Duties & Responsibilities:
•Ensure all members are up to date on First Aid/CPR Certification and all other mandatory training
•Completing Annual Guard Evaluations based on Prisoner Care Manual and operationalpolicies/directives
•Training all new guards that start with Treaty Three Police Services
•Scheduling guards during key times, such as month end and pay week in coordination with DetachmentCommanders
•Ensuring a minimum threshold of shifts worked, as directed by the Detachment Commander
•Perform regular guarding duties when unable to find coverage
•Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
•Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
•Must be physically and medically fit;
•Must possess a valid WHMIS and CPR & First Aid Certification;
•Be of good moral character with no criminal record for which a records suspension (pardon) has not been received or an absolute/conditional discharge that has not been sealed;
•Must be reliable and willing to work flexible hours (day/night);
•A valid driver’s license and clear driver’s abstract;•Strong computer and communication skills;
•A strong spirit of collaboration, dependability, positivity and a love what you do attitude.

Wage: $31.26 / hr with progression to $33.45 / hr.
