Treaty Three Police Service and Police Services Board Release 2025-2029 Strategic Plan

(KENORA) Treaty Three Police Service (T3PS), in partnership with the Treaty Three Police Services Board (T3PSB), is pleased to announce the release of its new Strategic Plan, outlining key priorities and a forward-looking vision for policing across Treaty #3 communities.

The Strategic Plan is informed by extensive engagement with community members, leadership, and T3PS staff. The plan reflects shared priorities and establishes a roadmap to strengthen community safety, build trust, and enhance service delivery.

“This Strategic Plan represents the voices of the communities we serve and the members who carry out this important work every day,” said Chief of Police Cheryl Gervais, Treaty Three Police Service. “It provides clear direction as we continue to build a service that is responsive, culturally grounded, and focused on community safety.”

Sue Boshey, President of the Treaty Three Police Services Board, emphasized the importance of collaboration in the development of the plan. “This work is grounded in the feedback we heard directly from community members and T3PS members. The Board is committed to ensuring that the priorities identified in this plan are carried forward in a way that reflects the needs and expectations of Treaty #3 communities.”

T3PS and the T3PSB remain committed to ongoing engagement and continuous improvement as they work together to advance community safety and wellbeing across Treaty #3.

Treaty Three Police Service is a self-administered policing entity under the First Nations Policing Program in Canada, responsible for full policing duties within the Treaty #3 territory.
