To provide an effective social and culturally respectful service delivery of programs related to safety, crime prevention, drug and alcohol awareness, focusing on our Anishinaabe Youth in cooperation with elder guidance and traditional teachings.
To build positive relationship with our youth, families, communities and community leaders.
The Treaty Three Police Service Community Services Officer, in partnership with our Communities and local School Divisions, provides valuable resources to our local Schools. These resources include education, counseling, crime prevention, community relations, and investigations. The Community Services Officer serves as positive role models to students, school staff and community members. They establish and maintain open lines of communication with students, parents, and school staff. They reduce crime through education, enforcement and personal interaction with students and staff by becoming involved in school activities and programs. By creating this partnership, the Treaty Three Police Service strives to provide a safe and secure school community. Every Officer of the Treaty Three Police Service is responsible for acting in the capacity of a Community Services Officer.
