Treaty Three Police Service members participated in the First walk in memory of Chanie WENJACK in Honour of the Residential School children who never made it home.
Treaty Three Police Service serves 23 First Nation Communities in the surrounding area. Our Service would like to acknowledge, honour and remember the Residential School students who have passed on and who are still living; we Remember.
We would also like to Thank Grand Council Treaty Three along with Courage for Gord DOWNIE and his Team who headed this walk with the WENJACK family.
True Reconciliation happens when all walks of life come together to spread Awareness about the history of First Nations People of the Residential Schools across Canada.
