(Kenora, ON) – On September 02, 2014 at approximately 8:15 a.m. members of the Treaty Three Police Service were called to a report of a break enter and theft from the Administration Offices of the Obashkaandagaang First Nation Territory. Through their Investigation Police also learned that there was a second break and enter at the Elder’s Complex where there was a large amount of damage done to recent repairs that were being done to upgrade the Housing complex.
Police conducted their investigation and learned that several items amounting to approximately $3,500.00 were stolen from the Administration Office and a significant amount of damage was caused at the Elder’s Complex.
Two youth who cannot be named at this time have subsequently been arrested and were released for a Court date in November to answer to the pending charges of break enter and commit theft, break enter and commit mischief along with possession of stolen property.
