Administrative Support – Professional Standards

Treaty Three Police Services seeks a Full-Time, Permanent Administrative Support to assist the effective administration of the Professional Standards program by maintaining confidential records, coordinating investigations, and ensuring compliance with internal code of conduct processes and organizational policies. This role is essential for ensuring the integrity and accountability of internal investigative procedures and related documentation.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage databases and files for public complaints and internal disciplinary matters.
  • Support investigations, hearings, and related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of findings, outcomes, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate storage, security, and retention of digital and physical records.
  • Liaise with HR to document internal conduct outcomes.
  • Prepare reports for leadership and assist with meeting coordination.
  • Transcribe interviews, hearings, and relevant recordings.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Be of good moral character with no criminal record for which a records suspension (pardon) has not been received or an absolute/conditional discharge that has not been sealed
  • Valid G Ontario drivers license and clear Driver’s Abstract
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
  • Proven accurate alpha and numeric data entry, as well as transcription skills.
  • Interactions with internal and external contacts require tact and courtesy, exchange of factual information.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills with multiple levels and sources for listening and comprehension.
  • Well-developed time management, prioritization, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to interact diplomatically, tactfully and confidentially with all levels of the service and the public.
  • Demonstrated effective management of highly confidential material.

Entry Level Rate $32.56/hr, with potential for progression to $35.93/hr
