Charges Laid Following Search Warrant in Eagle Lake First Nation

(DRYDEN) – Treaty Three Police Service officers executed a search warrant on May 2, 2025, of a residence in Eagle Lake First Nation. Following investigation, a 41-year-old female of Eagle Lake First Nation was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
  • Unauthorized use of computer Section 342.1(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
  • Break and entering a dwelling with intent to commit indictable offence Section 348(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 Section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code

The accused was released with conditions and is to appear in Dryden Court at a later date. A total of 156 grams of suspected cocaine was seized with an estimated street value over $30,000 along with cellphones and other evidence of trafficking controlled substances.
