Assault Investigation Leads to Charges in Seine River First Nation

SEINE RIVER FIRST NATION – On May 31, 2025, officers from the Treaty Three Police Service (T3PS) responded to a report of an assault involving a knife in Seine River First Nation. Upon arrival, officers located an injured individual who was transported to hospital by EMS and later released.
As a result of the investigation, a 40-year-old female from Seine River First Nation has been charged with:
- Assault causing bodily harm
- Uttering threats
- Failure to comply with a release order
A second individual, a 47-year-old female also from Seine River First Nation, has been charged with:
- Assault
- Obstructing a peace officer
Both individuals were released with conditions and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Treaty Three Police Service continues to prioritize community safety and appreciates the assistance of community members during the investigation.
