T3PS Lay Charges in Relation to Controlled Substances Seized During Grassy Narrows First Nation Investigation

(Kenora, ON) – Two people are facing charges following an investigation by members of the Treaty Three Police Services Street Crime Unit on Wednesday the 27th of July 2016 which has led to the seizure of Cannabis Marihuana and Canadian Currency.

As a result of this investigation, Sharon FOBISTER (61) of Grassy Narrows has been charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking while Ronald MOSIONIER (49) of Kenora is facing charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. MOSIONIER has been held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing in Kenora; FOBISTER has been released from custody on a promise to appear in court in September.

In total one pound (454 grams) of Cannabis Marihuana was seized along with Canadian Currency and other drug related items with an estimated street value in excess of $10,000.
